Create as much darkness as possible. PeeDar 2.0 works best in complete darkness, but it does show stains in low light as well.

Insert the 3 AAA batteries (included) and push the on/off button. Shine the PeeDar 2.0 close to surfaces as you would any other flashlight. Wearing clear UV eye protection is recommended.
