Triodine-7® – 32 Oz

Disinfectant and antiseptic for bodily injuries including wounds, cuts, abrasions, insect bites and minor bruises. Heals by killing bacteria and sterilizing the area around the injury. Effective treatment for foot and bottom of the hoof infections. Disinfects and dries up umbilical cords, preventing naval infections and umbilical hernias. Avoiding naval illness is vital, as it can lead to septicemia (blue belly) and systemic issues for babies and to arthritis later in life. Not for human use.

Indications: For use on cattle, sheep, horses, dogs and swine for topical application on the skin to disinfect superficial wounds, cuts, abrasions, insect bites and minor bruises.

Storage: Store at controlled room temperature between 15° – 30°C (59° – 86°F). PROTECT FROM LIGHT.

Caution: Not for use in body cavities or deep wounds. Do not use on burns. Do not apply under bandage. Irritation may occur if used on tender skin areas. Avoid contact with eyes and mucous membranes. In case of deep or puncture wounds or redness, irritation, or swelling persists or increases, discontinue use and consult a veterinarian.

Antidote: If swallowed, give starch paste, milk, bread, egg white or activated charcoal. A 5% solution of sodium thiosulfate (photographic “hypo”) may be administered orally at a rate of 10 mL per kilogram of body weight.

If necessary, clip area to be treated and cleanse with soap and water. Apply Triodine-7 with a swab.

7% active ingredients provided by Iodine, Potassium Iodide and povidone Iodine. Provides 2.4% Titratable Iodine.
