Zymox® Otic HC 1.0% Enzymatic Solution – 1.25 Oz

Zymox^® Otic Enzymatic Solution with Hydrocortisone uses a patented LP3 Enzyme System to create a biological system that is effective against a variety of bacterial, fungal and yeast infections in the ear. The three enzymes (Lactoperoxidase, Lysozyme and Lactoferrin) react with infectious pus and debris, forming their antimicrobial properties to counteract infections. Using a cleaner prior to use will disrupt this biological system, so the solution acts as an ear cleaner and medication in one daily dose. With no memory, it’s effective against even antibiotic-resistant microorganisms for fast otic treatment. The antibiotic-free formula is safe for use in animals of any age.

Apply liberally in uncleaned ear to fill canal. Gently massage and work into infected area. Wipe to remove excess. Treat one time daily for 7 days for acute infections. Treat once a day for 14 days for chronic infections. Flush ear post-treatment.

Important: Do not clean ears before or during treatment. Do not use in conjunction with other topical ear medications or cleaners. Do not allow water in or near ear during treatment. If condition persists or worsens, consult your veterinarian.

Warning: Do not use on punctured ear drums. Do not use on pregnant or lactating females.
